The pipe reamer tool is made of solid aluminum alloy and stainless steel shaft, with a special anodized surface that is rust-proof, corrosion-resistant and has a long service life. It is processed by CNC machine tools to provide precise inner and outer diameter reaming, reducing pipe waste and saving costs. The carbide insert is sharp enough, and can be rotated 90 degrees before use to provide a new cutting surface when the edges become dull.

This 6-piece PVC pipe reamer kit includes sizes from 1-inch to 4-inch (PPR75, PPR100, PPR150, PPR200, PPR300, PPR400), with a 3/8-inch hex shaft. It also comes with 2 hex wrenches for removing or tightening the various parts of the pipe reamer. This professional-grade tool is perfect for plumbers or DIY enthusiasts working on pipe projects.

The pipe reamer is compatible with 1/2" drill bits, including standard, cordless, and impact drills. It is widely used for cleaning residual pipe and solvent cement residue from PVC, CPVC and ABS pipe fittings, allowing you to reuse the fittings and save money. However, it is not suitable for Schedule 80 pipes.

To use the reamer, select the appropriate size, insert it into the drill chuck and tighten. Then, insert the reamer into the damaged pipe, making sure to keep it centered to prevent binding. Ream the old pipe to the proper depth, remove the drill bit, and clear away any chips. It is recommended to use a high-torque, low-RPM drill to reduce heat generated by reamer friction and produce the cleanest reaming. Add water for cooling to prevent the pipes from melting at high temperatures.
